Scratch it!

Oh yeah scratch it! Andy and I were at sgpools just now and we bought 2 scratch it cards initially. This is how the game goes. You first scratch the portion at the top right corner of the card so it will reveal 2 numbers. Then, you scratch the bottom and if any 8 number below matches the above, you win moolah! *how much you win depends on the $figure beside the numbers*

Hence, Andy and I were scratching the cards, and he won $50 at first try!! I got nothing. $50 doesn't seem ALOT but using $2 to trade for a $50 is such a killer! So, we went to redeem the winnings from this rude auntie, AND bought 2 more cards! The second time round, we were not so lucky, as I won NOTHING again, and Andy won $2!! Gosh. He is so lucky today! He'd have won alot in mj if we were playing. Hahah. So, we went back to redeem, and I told him if we were to redeem from that rude auntie again, we will buy another card! So, to little surprise, we got that auntie again, but lady luck flew away as we didnt win anything. Still, it's quite amazing that we won something! The anticipation is so exciting! I am so gonna play scratch it again!

Okays. So much for the excitment. We caught The Mummy today at Cathay@downtown. It was great I thought! Maybe cos I didnt catch the previous 2, but I still think it's nice, hilarious, and I was kept focused throughout the movie. Andy says it's like a kids' movie cos it's the movie's not scary. But whatever!

We had dinner at japanesevillage again, and this time it was like a twist of role, because I'm still sick! Didnt eat as much. Didnt get to drink my blackcurrent juice. Didnt eat my SOFT SHELL CRAB. Didnt eat my fried prawn / softshellcrab sushi. All thanks to the lingering sore throat and fever. I was so tempted to nibble the soft shell crab!! :( But I didn't in the end. Don't want to end up worse.

I was feeling so terrible yesterday. Woke up with sore throat, had flu in the afternoon, then was shivering in the evening as I realised I had a fever. The funny thing is, there's like a transition or so, as those above came one after another, after each one has subsided. So I should count myself lucky that they didnt come all together?! So, this morning, my fever was almost gone, but I got cough. What the heck! It's like a cycle or something. Hope I fully recover tomorrow. Please. Thank you.
