Monday blues, Tuesday greens

Hello people. It's a Monday today, and just as I expected, the bluesssss are here. Oh wells. But it wasnt as bad as last Monday's! Work started off slow, but I soon find myself extremely occupied after lunch, which is good. I like it. Better than rotting around.

Lunch today was great. I met Yilin for lunch at Shokudo. She's like a da jie jie! Hahah. We had a great chat over softshell crab pasta. Food was average. But I would want to try the other pastas! Anw, I think Yilin is gonna make me grow fat. Everything she says is linked to FOOD.

So, life in SMRT is pretty smooth. Was quite reluctant to work there initially, but I guess things have been getting better. Colleagues are nice. Work is interesting, period. It's quite fun screening resumes and laugh at some of their 'unique' pictures. I can say that I've learnt quite a bit on this job and it has indeed brought me closer to how a HR dept works. My only complain would be the peanutssss the agency is paying me. I guess I've gotten used to waking up at 630 every morning.

This holiday has been rather enriching and well spent thus far. Except that I haven't been exercising much! Oh dear. Getting unhealthy again. But anyhows, I finally went for the JB trip! It was few weeks back ago thou. Went to Khai's kelong. It was my first time stepping into a kelong so it was very much interesting. Then we went for shopping and a movie, and I pampered myself with a new hair cut as well as a classic pedicure! Pure bliss. I wanna do it again! I like the way the massage my head! Haha. Thanks dear for the treat! :) Oh yes, and I bought contact lens at a killer rate. Will be able to buy contact lens at that same rate, yet collect it in Singapore! How cool is that man. Will really save a lot of moolahhhs.

Then, there was Cloe's 21st bday celebration! It was quite a blast, with live band playing, lucky draw, and cutesy pie cupcakes! Of course the bday girl herself was gorgeous that night. It was really a well planned evening. There were even door gifts. Thanks girl for the sweet gesture. I'm sure you had loads of fun.

Zoom in to last week, where we celebrated Jessica's 21st! It was supposed to be a surprise. BUT. The bday girl surprised us by catching us unprepared! Gawds. To think I was still decorating the place. Well, she 'faked' a surprise to not disappoint us, as well as for video sake. It was fun, and indeed very memorable hahah. It is really great hanging out with people I haven't met or talked to for a long time. I cherish such moments :)

I am craving for mahjong now! Had 2 sessions with Diana&Andykoh and of cos my bf. Am still waiting for more! Thou I lost the previous time, I believe my luck will be back! No more red tops. It's gonna be a taboo. Haha. Or maybe I'm just superstitious.

I miss my darling boyfriend. He's such a poor thing, stuck in the lecture hall after a full day of work! And we can only meet on Thurs :( Let time fastforward fasssst!
