Wrong time

Things always happen in the wrong time. When I don't have a job and am desperately sending resumes, everyone tells me they dont have an opening, or they will say 'we'll keep a lookout for you.' Now, when I already have a job, thou I'll only start next Mon, every single person I emailed to/called to got back to me. I have gotten perhaps 6 calls/smses these few days, offering me a job! And I so wanna go back to SPE but I've signed a contract alr and I can't terminate the appointment! Not that I'm not looking forward to my new employer, just that I have to wake up freaking early cos I'll be working at city hall and work starts at 815am. Omfg. Thats super early. And probably the time I will wake up if I work at SPE. Oh wells. AND, it's just so exasperating to hear that Citibank person call me to offer me a job that pays well!! BUT. I can't accept it. Grr. My HR job in SMRT better be good!!!

I went shopping with Cheryl on Tues in town, wanting to buy formal wear for work, but I got home with stuffs other than formal wear :( ok just a skirt, and the rest were just random items. And Cheryl didnt get her clubbing wear too. We had Turkish food for dinner and it was not bad, worth the try. But that cold button mushroom in Cheryl's salad tastes kind of weird. Haha.

Went for movie with Andydearr in our new fave hangout on Wed, and we finally caught Kungfu Panda. It was average, just a cheap thrill flick for laughter. Perhaps our expectations were to high given the rather positive comments from many others. We ate at Japanese Village for dinner! I like the prawn sushi heh heh heh :D And we had yoghurt from the yoghurt place! Yummilicious! Craving for it now :x

Yesterday was just a simple dinner at dear's place. I went eastpoint to buy some groceries and dear came to pick me up after his work, and we went to his place to whip up a simple but delicious meal filled with Love! Hahahs. We had our all time fave - mixed mushroom in abalone sauce! I Love eating dinner and watching TV at the same time. Hahah. It's a habit. And I like the 7pm channel 8 show!

Btw, I went swimming just now and I think I'm a lil burnt. The sun was SCORCHING. And is still scorching now. But, at least I got some weeeee bit of exercise. Hehs. I hope I don't get freckles or black spots thou!!
