With the existance of FB, I hardly ever upload pictures here anymore! I wonder how soon will the whole FB saga end with the upcoming twitter. No, I am not a tech/comp geek. I just do not want my memories to be 'lost' like they have been in friendster.
Anyhows. Days after prelims have been pretty much....slow. Very slow. Things have been picking up at snail rate. I have effectively read just one part of psychology in say...3days? It could be done in a day! Then, there were much distractions that gravitated me away. Just some highlights:
Andy's 25th and our 2nd Year Anni <3
A simple but romantic alfresco dinner at the Esplanade that captivated a moment to last forever! Food was good, ambience was good, but the company was the best. It felt exceptionally relaxing because we haven't been 'out' since eons. The highlight of the night ought to go to the super touching video dear made for me! I can still cry over it despite viewing it for 1000 times already. Thanks for the shirt too! It was so unexpected becos I thought we've 'given up' on that piece! Haha. Sorry for the gift that arrived a tad later than you should expect, but I hope the tiny surprise made you day :)
SIM Networking Session and Jobsdb Career Expo
It was such a let down. The companies invited to SIM were not exactly to my interest, except for one. Just one. It was definitely enriching to know more about the companies but the networking session was a waste of time. It could all be done/known with just the career fair. After the networking session, I went with Elaine and Corrin to the career expo at suntec. It wasnt exactly impressive but at least I applied for several jobs.
Family Chalet at NSRCC
One of the best things that should be mentioned in my family's get-together is the FOOD. Kobe beef and tiger/king prawns rock my socks! Best beef ever. I felt it's quite a waste to bbq such good beef thou. And the prawn - the species that was highly disputed over - was soooo succelent. Not forgetting the staple of salmon sashimi :)) And the highlight was the japanese ice cream. Haha I don't know what flavour it is. Yuzu is it? It tastes like the fruit of the potted plant that is sold everywhere during CNY. That orange coloured fruit, like a mini tangerine. Ok whatever it is. It's damn nice. Light and sour yet sweet. Yummy! Oh yar, 2 thumbs up for the newly renovated chalet (was it newly done up or I was just too slow to realise) with nicely done interior decor.
Okays and some nitty gritty stuffs that occupied so much of my time. Seriously sometimes the day can just slip pass me without me achieving much. All I need now is a lot of motivation and drive, and with truckloadsssss of luck.
