Happy Lunar New Year!

Whoaaaa time really flies and it's CNY's eve once again! Can't believe it's coming so soon. Alrights so it seems like everyone is busy spring cleaning and yada yada yada. I've done half of my room, moving on to the second half soon. This whole thing seems like a ritual and I question myself; do I clean my room for cleanliness sake, or for CNY sake? I realise it's for CNY. My usual room cleaning routines are rarely so thorough hahah. It's also the time of the year where I will find the supposed 'lost' items.

I'm quite glad actually that CNY is early this year. This means I don't have to rush back after dinners/visitations to revise for prelims. There's still about one month plus to that! Yipeee. Oh yes prelim dates are out and there's an e-prelim for one of the units. Eventhough it's much more convenient, I feel that it's not very realistic. There's a high tendency for me to cheat/discuss with others! How clever.

Okays so I've actually read from lots of sources about my luck for this coming year. Most say that my luck is just average. But the recent one I read says that the year for rabbits will be an excellent year! I choose to put my faith in the latter one. Not that I totally believe in such things, I just want some shimmering hope into my life! With the impending crisis, the worst in 60years, it's the best circumstance to believe such things. Haha. Oh yeah, that article I read also had some very interesting stuffs. Apparently it's written by this "Fengshui Queen". It says that this year, an important world leader will pass on, there'll be a terrorist attack somewhere and a building is at risk, a phenomenon like the birdflu sars or mcd will occur again, riots and strikes everywhere due to unemployment, and some other stuffs which I don't really remember. It also says that the stock market will be volatile, reacting positively and negatively to good new and bad news. The aussie and nzl dollar will fall, gold prices will rise, and oil prices are gonna stay btwn $40 - $50 per barrel. How true are all these!? Her predictions are so specific. If what she says is true, it seems like we're gonna go thru the great depression and life's gonna be tough. But no fret! She did give some sort of advise to splatter some good luck into yr life: Take lots of coins, and pour them over your study table or whatever table you have. Haha. Sounds kinda absurd right. Okay and there's also something quite interesting. Every year 4th feb is supposedly the arrival of Spring. So, if something good happens that day, it signifies a smooth year ahead. Vice versa. I don't know whether to believe this or not, cos like what Andy said, it sounds too generic. Hahah.

So much for such superstitions. More importantly is what we do: work hard, work smart, aim well, score well! Talking about this I suddenly feel the motivation to mug. Hahah. Alrights all my dear friends (if there are still ppl reading my blog) HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! Collect lots of angbaos and eat lots of pineapple tarts. Huat ah!
